Advice: School Overload

Recently I've been really super busy what with finals and all. (ughhhh. just thinking about it is making my head spin!) Honestly, I'm kind of out of it. Like really out of it. Right now for example, I want to cry. For no reason! My eyes are welling up with tears and I can't seem to push the feelings down. Life is chaotic. The atmosphere is stressful. I went to sleep at 2AM last night and woke up at 6:30AM. That's 4 and a half hours. I'm running on fumes.

All anyone is talking about is grades, grades, and more grades.
The hallways are buzzing and I have never heard people's thoughts speak so loudly.
...My future is relying on these very tests...
I know that class averages and GPA aren't the only thing that matters, but it's the only thing that people seem to pinpoint when it comes to the future.

My head is spinning and I think I'm going cross eyed because I'm seeing two of everything. I can't seem to focus on one thing. I have the crazy eyes thing going on and this morning there wan't enough concealer in the world to hide my under eye circles. If I close my eyes I know I'll fall asleep and I can't permit myself to.

And I'm procrastinating. I mean, what did you expect?

I'm trying to research ways to stay relax and keep things under control. I'll keep you guys updated though. But for now, my personal piece of advice? Sleep. Eat a nutritious meal to keep you going. Take deep breaths (inhale through your nose and exhale from your mouth). And once it's all over, treat yourself with doing nothing. Just hibernate. I know that everything is easier said than done, but once I click the orange 'Publish' button, I'm going to bed.

Just remember, ignore this week's cruel torments because once the calender flips itself to Friday evening, it'll all be over. Once you conquer the bump that is finals, it's Winter break. And for those of you who celebrate Christmas, it's only 8 days from now :)

What do you do to stay calm when your head is bursting with work related things? I'd love to know because trust me, everyone needs it.
