Hey Stranger.
It's late on a
school night and I don't really know what I'm doing quite yet. Frankly, my eyes
hurt from so much screen time, but here I am, trying to introduce myself in a
manner that's cool, and not cheesy. Maybe you know, maybe you don't but
creating a blog is hard stuff. I don't mean to complain... but here I am
complaining. Colors. Margins. Spacing. HTML. I hadn't heard about it until last
year, but HTML is impossibly hard to decipher. It's like trying to communicate with
someone in another language. (Someone who's a stubborn smart ass)
I guess since we're both here; I may as well get to the point. I’ll start by saying this. If I were a new student in your class or an unknown coworker, I'd introduce myself as Estelle. I love learning about word origins, so naturally I've Wikipedia searched my name (because we all know that Wikipedia is such a reliable source) only to find out that it means star, which my parents have repeatedly told me. But that's not the best part, my name also means something along the lines of a ‘well groomed’, ‘dawn goddess’ ‘warrior’. I think that’s pretty awesome. So there you go!

I have two
siblings—a younger sister and an even younger brother, and most importantly, a
cat named Mishka. It was meant to be a random name, but it turns out, correct
me if I’m wrong, that it means ‘little bear’ in Russian.
I’m a California
native and proud to be. The down side is that we Californians are wimps when it
comes to weather. As you may know, we've been in a drought this year and today
it finally rained after months of sunshine. Everyone was super excited to be
seeing rain clouds, but that was
undermined by the fact that my school is an outdoor campus and everything was wet and cold. This resulted in everyone reluctantly taking shelter in
classrooms.
I’m also fluent in Spanish and French, which makes me trilingual, so feel free to say hi if you can! Lastly,
you ought to know that I’m still a teenager trying to find my way in this
incredible maze that is life. So through high and low times we can get through this together.
I think I've shared more than enough in this
slightly one sided conversation so let’s leave it at that.

Cheers!
